router line LED not lighting
so many problems dont know where to start.
wanted to update firmware of extender used on Mac PC. i was able to download the latest firmware file and then i tried to connect iva web rowser set up. i did connect to the wifi network netgear_ext however the router link LED never slights up but the status LED and client LED do light up. on the mac PC, i go to mywifiext.net and get message i am not connected to my extenders wifi network, however that is not correct. I've tried to follow the link mac OS www.mywifiext.local and nothing happens. i tried the typing in the extenders default IP 192.168.1.250 and again nothing (all the while the status LED and client linke LED are green but nothing for router link LED. any ideas would be appreciated. thank you

Hi oneconfuseddude,
Can you try it from a different device to see if that helps and also from wired device if any. Also, mywifiext.local doesn't applies for this extender and is only for EX7500 and EX8000 once they are setup. Router LED on your extender is OFF since you haven't setup the extender. I would request you to setup the extender using WPS or browser method by using following links.
