setting up WN2000RPTv3 does not work
The smart setup does not work. I am trying to extend an existing network,
1. The smart setup finds the existing network,
2. but the I get an error message saying that "name-of-the-network"Character is not allowed in SSID. What does this mean? What is not allowed where and why not? Is it not possible to extend the exisiting network?

It sounds like the WN2000RPTv3 is complaining that the name of your existing network is incompatible. Does the name of your existing network have symbols in it, like #$!&*, etc.? If so, try changing the name to include only letters and numbers.
