SPECTRUM ROUTER
Hi Tere. Yesterday I changed ISP from ATT to Spectrum. I am getting internet speed up to 480mps (400mbs service). My Netgear Nighthawk X4 AC2200 EX7300 worked well with ATT with 50mbs service. The extender connects to the Spectrum router WiFi and outputs a strong signal; however, there is no internet signal. Your thoughts.

Unplug router and modem power cables from the outlet and disconnect the ethernet cable from the modem to the router, wait 2 minutes. Plug the power back into the modem only and wait 5 minutes, your modem may show that the internet is back up but wait the full time anyway. After 5 minutes plug the ethernet cable back in and plug the router power cable back in. Sometimes the modems are touchy about assigning an IP to the router and just being patient and retrying works. I have a Spectrum Ubee modem that won't just reconnect if it loses power, waiting for the modem to be fully powered and connected to the internet for awhile then powering on the router seems to do the trick. Please reply back to let others know if this solution worked for you.
What firmware is on your EX7300?
What modem/router device did spectrum give you? I'm assuming that you have a modem/router combo device since you stated that in your post.
Does the wifi work on it?
When you change routers its a good idea to factory reset the extender and set it back up from original.
Push and hold reset while its powered up. it should take 7-10 seconds but some devices take longer. The lights will change/flash when you've held it long enough.
Are you setting it up via wps or the manual install method using the smart installation wizard?
do the setup in the same room. You can move it post setup.
Also, if you're setting it up as an extender, make sure the switch on the side is in extender mode and not AP mode.
After setup, what are all the led's on it doing? colors/blinking/solid. Go over each one.
