Unable to connect my EX2700

Hello,

I am unable to connect my wifi extender using any online help or the booklet.

First I tried connecting it via mobile device ( my extender is on and wps and power is green). Ever place ive read said the extender should read something like Neatgear_EXT, I see the extender 23d8e7_EXT and when i try to connect to it using my wifi password it just does not work.

Next I tried connecting it using an ethernet cable. I went to the mywifiext.net and tried .com but it says "YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR EXTENDER’S WIFI NETWORK. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CURRENT CONNECTION AND TRY AGAIN. " so i am unable to go to the next steps.

Ive tried the trouble shooting links but nothing seems to work.

I am on windows 10

any advice?
