Unable to connect to MyWiFiExt.net w/eathernet connected

WN2000RPTv2

Sorry do not ahve access to the unit to give you firmware or other details...

I am trying to reset myWiFiExt and create a new connection to a new Access point.

I am unable to get to MyWiFiExt.net... it tells me I am not connected...

I have rest to factory... that resolved the issue and I was able to see a list of Access Points, I was able to set the password and it responded with the new name of teh connection but as soon as I connected to it everything went off-line again.

I power cycle the Extender and it does nothing for me... I am unable to connect to MyWiFiExt again.

Thi sunit is old and it has had its ups and downs for years.  It will lose its connection and I would have to power cycle it get the connection back.

Is this unit now completely useless and headed for the trash?

Or is there hope and a solution to my delimer?

Thanks in advance for you help.

    Hi SquireDude66,

    Welcome to the community!

You can try re-flashing the latest firmware then do a factory reset.

      Hi,

Thanks, I have tried a reset using the button on the rear ot the unit.  Not sure if it worked as I am unable to open MyWiFiExt.net...

I think the unit has died...

Is there any other test or ways of accessing the units Dashboard?

      Thanks
