Unable to extend xfinitywifi hotspot with EX6200

Question

I can't seem to get my extender to work with xfinity. It works fine with the regular passwor network. Hotspot works when it's not extended. I don't get the xfinity login page on devices. Devices don't seem to get a good IP. I've tried on a phone, iPad, laptop, and Xbox. One person told me it might have worked on their phone. I've done the setup about 4 times and reset extender once.

1. During the extender setup, can the extender pickup the WiFi signal from your main WiFi (xfinity)?

2. Are you getting an error message? If yes, what is the error message?

I forgot to add that I can't reach the extender setup page when connected to the extended network

1. Yes it picks it up just fine. I've only set the regular network up with the WPS button, so I don't know if anything different happens

2. No error it gets all the way to the step where it says ' connect you devices" or something like that.

1. Are you then able to connect your devices to the extended network?

2. Are you saying that the setup completes but your devices are just unable to go online when connected to the extended network?

1. It works fine when password protected network is extended, it works when it's not extended, it works when xfinity is not accepted. I can connect to xfinitywifi_extended. I just can't get online, to the xfinity login, or the extender setup page once I connect to it.2. The setup does appear to complete
