Unable to log into AC750 EX 6100 Extender in network as access point with Ethernet over AC

I have the unit powered up and all green connected to internet but can't login using either mywifiext.net or IP address 192.168.1.250 as outlined in http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29746/~/unable-to-access-mywifiext.net?cid=wmt_netgear_organic.

Also, when using Ethernet over AC (powerline) to connect this unit as an access point, does the combination need to plugged in closer to wifi routers or destination area.

Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated!

BR,

Jack

    Hello jwhart

Have you tried to connect the extenders settings while connected to the extender and also try to do that while connecting to the main routers network.

I'm sorry but I don't understand you're suggestions. The EX 6100 is connected with Cat 6 to a wifi over powerline adapter which is plugged into an adjacent outlet. I cannot launch the Netgear "app" using either the mywifiext.net URL or the recommended IP address. If I connect the EX 6100 directly into the source wifi router rather than in the target location, how can it recommend location, etc.?

        Hello jwhart

Is the power line extender using the same Ip as the extender maybe?
