Unstable Ethernet connection on EX8000 extender
The extender is connected over WiFi to the router. Ethernet connection from extender to the PC (no WiFi card on the PC). I keep having dropped internet connection for up to 30 seconds before reconnecting. This happens irrespective of activity; browsing, gaming, etc. How to address these issues?

Maybe the RAX is switching the EX between bands. Try turning off band steering (for testing) on the RAX and assign the EX to one of the 5ghz bands.
See if that stays stable.
What modem are you using?
What firmware is on the RAX?
Firmware on the EX?

anything else plugged into the sb8200?
Its got 2 ethernet ports but only 1 is usable for the average user.
Have you tried changing which 5ghz is used for the backhaul?
Or tried downgrading the firmware? (if you do, do it over a hardwired connection)
