Use of WN2500RP with an Verizon Actiontec MI424-WR (Rev F) ?

I'm considering purchasing a WN2500RP but I was wondering if anyone has confirmed that it works with the Actiontech wireless broadband router provided by Verizon Fios. I have a Verizon Actiontec MI424-WR (Rev F) and had problems getting it to work with another branded Wi-Fi extender. I'm suspicious at this point that Verizon is sabotaging the connection of any other repeaters to their routers. :mad:
