WG602V3 Not Visible on network
WG602 connected via Netgear Power Line Adapters to modem/router as follows:
MODEM/ROUTER>>>NG PA>>>NG PA>>>SWITCH>>>WG602V3
Ip scanner software on XP PC connected to MODEM/ROUTER cannot see WG602V3 and display DHCP assigned ip addy.
Is this normal? WG602 is otherwise working fine and all devices connected to it display correct DHCP ip addy assigned by MODEM/ROUTER.
Reason I ask is because I cannot access WG602 over network to configure using "netgearXXXXXX" and since I have no idea what ip the DHCP has assigned, I cannot access it directly either.

Poor setup... You should have assign static IP outside of your DHCP range.
You best best is hook AP to main router and find it and fix that.
other issues with power line with traffic is somewhat common that you loose what you are saying but internet works. I have seen even mine to print on my network printer behind the power line from main network in the past. - CaboSteveAspirantThanks j. I thought about doing that when I set it up and then forgot to do it and it is such a pain to connect it back up to the pc to configure. THought I would be able to see it in the DHCP table of the router but it 'aint there. Will try that.
- CaboSteveAspirantSuccess - knew I should not have shortcutted the fixed ip addy! Setting fixed ip outside of DHCP range now makes WG602 visible to network. Thanks for tip.:o
