What is up, Extension does not seem to be working
Howdy, purchased a 6100, setup was fast and easy. Here are the particulars: I purchased the 6100 to boost signal to my Roku that is is Master B/R, Main WiFi is Mac Airport, 6100 in same room as Airport approx 4 feet away, I have both the 2 and 5 signals that can be logged into. I go to the Roku to set it up on one of the new Extended Signals and the signal strength from the Airport is the strongest! What is the deal, I thought that I was purchasing an extender of my WiFi, does not seem to be extending anything but the NetGear bottom line? Why are the 2 and 5 signal strengths not better?

From your description , a 6100 is a NETGEAR R6100 AC1200 Dual Band router.
So, to calrify, you have the a Mac Airport (model type?) and an R6100 in the same room, with your Roku? What is it exactly, that you are trying to accomplish? How do you want to connect these devices?
