WiFi Range Extenders with PoE

Question

Good Morning all...I'm looking to set up in an old-old house WiFi ceiling extenders(connected to CAT6 w/PoE switch) that has PoE power.I only find AP's. I want to extended the existing WiFi network.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;

I don't know of any extenders that support POE from netgear.&nbsp;
I'm not sure why you're not wanting to use an access point. If its hardwired in, an access point is going to provide higher performance than trying to use an extender.&nbsp;

But! will the Access Point 'extend' the router/WiFi network or will it create it's own?

Depends on what ones you use and how you do it.&nbsp;
the insight line of access points&nbsp; have a mesh function with other insight devices.&nbsp;
But not with consumer routers/extenders.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
but you're kind of caught because you're wanting it ran with POE.&nbsp;
