Ok maybe I had to many questions. Will the WN2000 let me setup port forwarding and static ip's on it or on my router to do it?

Your xbox has two MAC address, one for wired, one for wireless. you can reserve an ip addresses, per MAC address. All port forwarding shoud be done on your Router (if it supports it).
