WN2000RPTv3 Network Cable Unplugged sudden error

The model is WN2000RPTv3 but for some reason it wouldn't let me use that above.

Hello and thanks for the possible help, I've had this extender for a while with no issues until this morning when I boot up my pc and I notice there's no internet, I check my router's connection and then my pc the notice the Netgear extender is dimly lit. The Link-rate LED is very dim red (Usually yellow) and the Status LED is very dim yellow (Usually green). I then checked it in Network Connections and it said Network cable unplugged, so as you do, I googled it and went through forum posts of people with the same issue, most of them said to change the Speed & Duplex which I did and no luck, changing the ethernet cable didn't work either, even after reboot. at this point I'm around an hour and a half in and tried to factory reset it and start fresh. Now the extenders LED don't change and they stay dimly lit, I might have somehow damaged it and am unsure where to go from here. Should I scrap it and invest in a new one? And if so what's the newest version out there?

That is one option.  The WN2000RPT is an older model - 2.4 ghz only, and limited to 802.11n.  Newer extenders would be dual-band or triband, and support 802.11ac.  If your router supports 802.11ac, then you'd see faster speeds in the PC.

The highest performing extender in Netgear's product line is currently the EX8000.

Were you able to re-do the setup?  I suggest using the web browser set up on page 11 of the user manual: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN2000RPTV3/WN2000RPTv3_UM_19Oct2015.pdf  You'd do this from the PC that is connected to the extender's ethernet.

If that fails, then try a second reset.

A second reset did nothing and I can't access the web page. If it's supposed to be local nothing shows, same as before.

I've found an old netgearwifi extender in one of my junk boxes and hooked it up through some 100% professional wiring and it works perfectly, thanks for everything though :)
