WN2500RP drops router / forces router offline

My router does the same thing. Supposedly the ACS9?) sensitivity can be part of the problem.
I can reboot my extender and the network will connect again. Problem is I go through periods with no problems for weeks and then it will repeatedly disconnect for 1-2 hours. My laptop and my wife's desktop (on a dedicated usb wifi) never lose connection so its not the router.
