WN2500RP range extener not working

had this for a while and has worked perfectly. Upgraded to windows 10 and now doesnt work. Cant access mywifiext.net even though its connected. Is there some trick to connecting to Windows 10? Have disabled Kaspersky in case that was the issue? Any ideas?

    You will only be able to access mywifiext.net using a wireless connection if the computer is wirelessly associated with the router, and not the base station. Have you tried connecting to one of the repeater’s LAN ports using an Ethernet cable?
