WN3000RP extender passport and rename
I had to restore my extender to the factory settings. I want to rename it from the netgear that automatically comes up. All advice says I should be able to put in admin but I never get a log in box. I need instructions on where to go to rename and give my extender (not my router) a security password, please help. This should not be this hard!

1. Connect your wireless computer to the default extender SSID.
2. Once connected launch a brower and access mywifiext.net
3. Login with the default username:admin password: password.
4. Select Setup > Wireless Settings then modify your SSID and password.
5. After you hit Apply this will disconnect you from the extender management page. Go back to your wireless adapter and connect to the new SSID that you created on Step 4.Hope this helps.
