I forgot the password to log in to the wifi extension. I am not talking about my Netgear account. I am talking about living in to the wifi through the wifi extender. How do I reset the password or find out the password?

You will have to do a factory reset of the extender by holding the reset button for 10 seconds this will make the default login to the Gui admin/password you can then setup the extender again with a new wifi password.
