How to connect range extender to usrrname anf password WiFi
I have a range extender and I have used it at my house before easily with no problem. Currently I am away at college and the Wi-Fi only reaches half of my room so I figured why not being my range extender. The problem is at home all you need is a password. Here you need to add a username and password but it only gives me the option for a paraphrase Or in normal case where you put in the password. I recently bought a NETGEAR Mini N300 Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender with External Antennas (Wi-Fi Booster) (EX2700-100UKS) from Amazon. It has connected fine to our router but when I input the router password and try to connect with it from my laptop or mobile it does not work. On the iphone it says that the password is incorrect but it is definitely the right password for the router. Has anyone had this problem and managed to resolve it? ThanksN300 Wifi extender
I have tried every avenue that I know to get this extender to connect to my devices. I have read multiple forums. It still says that it is an incorrect password. I am using my original router password. I have factory reset. I have tried to log on to my wifi exit.net. It tells me I am already connected.wac104 Not Accepting Login
I just got this wifi extender and I want to make the network secure but everytime i try and login to the router page (192.168.0.100) the prompt to enter the username and password will keep poping up after I have entered the username (admin) and password (password). I have reseting the extender but the same thing happens everytime. And i do have my computer hooked up via ethernet cable directly to the device.EX7300 changes Wi Fi password by itself ?!?
After a lot of trial, I definitely gave connecting to 2,4 GHz network up. 5 GHz network works well, but I have some smartphones without that feature. Connecting to the device by the apposite program, I discovered that the password is changed from the original one of the main modem router in a way like this: 3f46821e67cfe0b866ea126f01aa9940258615ee95e618bba01b3f7bd8fee0dd (?!?) while the original password is a mnemonic one. Could somebody understand what happened? And, more important, how can I fix it before returning the product to the seller? Thanks
