Password for network does not work on extender
I recently bought a
NETGEAR Mini N300 Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender with External Antennas (Wi-Fi Booster) (EX2700-100UKS) from Amazon.
It has connected fine to our router but when I input the router password and try to connect with it from my laptop or mobile it does not work. On the iphone it says that the password is incorrect but it is definitely the right password for the router. Has anyone had this problem and managed to resolve it?
Thanks

Have you tried to log into the extender settings by going to www.mywifiext.net and then change the password?

Had configured the extender to use the same password for it's local AP like for the connection to the router?
Depending on the router or access point used, it might be possible that there were "unlucky" alphanumerics used for the SSID and/or the password. Some vendor products seem to allow using UTF8 encoded characters, but not all clients take these the same, and break the double byte characters into two - with any random effects. Stick with 0..9, A...Z, and a..z for SSIs and passwords.
