WN3000RPv3 problems with WPS

My extender doesn't have router connection after I try WPS/manual connection but creates a wireless signal and ethernet signal when connected to my PC with an ethernet cable. This wireless signal(MyInternet_EXT) has no internet connection and the ethernet connection is called MyInternet_EXT 2, not MyInternet_EXT as it usually is. I have tried Netgear Genie but it was just an endless loop that never fixed the problem, I have reset the extender, I have turned my router on and off and I have attemmpted WPS connection 5 times with the same result(extender doesn't connect) each time. I've had my extender for only 8 months but I bought it from Maplins which has now shut down.
