WN3500RP- Super slow speeds
I use the WN3500RP to game on my xbox one and whenever I run speed tests on the system it says my download speed is about 1mb or 2mb, but never dips above. Any tips/help would be much appreciated!

- Nickf99AspirantAlso, I have the Comcast Blast wifi plan, which is 105mbps. So with the extender I should atleast be getting 20mbps.
- FairytailVirtuosoConnect a device wired to the extender and check the speed. Also try moving the extender closer to the router.

I have connected the system with an Ethernet cord to check the speed and I get the same speed. I have not however moved the extender closer to the router. - FairytailVirtuosoCan you check the link rate you are getting on the extender's UI?

I'm getting 105mbps link rate for the extender. Where is all this bandwidth going? - Nickf99AspirantI'm thinking I may just invest in a powerline adapter and plug that directly into my router because I cannot figure this out.
- FairytailVirtuosoCheck the firmware of the extender. It may need an update.

Firmware is up to date, on both the extender and the router.- nhannNETGEAR Employee Retired
