WN3500RP with Chromecast in a hotel room
hi guys I bought the WN3500RP to bypass the login issue with chrome cast, using the device as a router.
the problem is, I haven't figure out how.
i was unable to set up connection on 5Ghz (not too bad as Chromecast uses 2,4)nonetheless, i don't have any clue how to do so.
can you please help?

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoWN3500rp is not a router . Also if hotel has portal login then will not work
- ciubAspirantI already gave it back. what should I use?
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoAgain if hotel uses portal to access it then nothing will work

How comes? For example the NETGEAR Trek Travel Router (PR2000) can be used to "hide" multiple computers and portable devices behind one MAC address - sign-on from any system with a browser to deal with the portal sign-on is sufficient for all.jmizoguchi wrote: Again if hotel uses portal to access it then nothing will work
While testing the PR2000, we had no issues using Multicast based applications on the WLAN/LAN side of the PR2000 in travel router mode.
Of course, hotel portal and Internet connections might prohibit using Multicast in a reasonable way - it's either blocked, or will be distributed all over on most non-managed switch environments and WLAN AP. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoThread is pertain specific model me what you have
