AC 1200 shows connected but won't open web pages

Question

I am having a terrible time with my Orbi system.&nbsp; It seems to work fine for the 2.4 GHz devices (security cameras and a Google home assistant), but not for the 5 GHz computers/phones.&nbsp; Each device shows it is connected to the Orbi, but whether Windows or an iPad it will not open web pages and sometimes operates so slow as to be useless but sometimes won't operate at all.&nbsp; I've never had a problem with most home tech items, but this one is far beyond my realm.&nbsp; Anyone else have any problems like this?&nbsp; The Orbi AC 1200 system has router and one satellite.&nbsp; RBS 10 I think as I'm not home right now.

The modem's IP address – probably your IP address in the Internet – is not the same as the make and model. That is what plemans was asking about.

Don't confuse using a 5G phone with using 5 GHz wifi.

Our cell phones are 5G unlimited data and faster than the old wifi, so we don't use wifi on our phones.

On mobile phones, 5G is fifth generation. It is not 5 GHz. Very few&nbsp;mobile&nbsp;operators have rolled out 5G to any great extent. Just&nbsp;because your phone&nbsp; says 5G does not mean that you are connected to a 5G service. Most&nbsp;operators still rely on 4G for a lot of their network.

Thank you very much.&nbsp; I will try that tonight when I get home.&nbsp;I'm curious a bit.&nbsp; Would the DSL modem work fine with both bands with the old N600 router but not work with the Orbi?&nbsp; I don't know that I can any access to the DSL modem settings, other than the reset switch I wouldn't know where to start.&nbsp; So, I'll try the option 2, then option 3.&nbsp;Thanks again for the help.&nbsp; I'll let you know how that works.

Modem gateway IP is 184.16.192.1Router firmware is v2.7.3.22Not a new purchase. Bought this system last summer, seemed to work as security cameras on 2.4 functioned. I set up all other devices and they showed the connection symbol, but I didn't actually try to use them. Our cell phones are 5G unlimited data and faster than the old wifi, so we don't use wifi on our phones.

Gateway IP address changes, now 184.16.160.1Acct name on Internet set up shows RBR10.Not sure how to take screen shot of set up pages.
