C3700v2 Firmware Downgrade
Been having connection issues with my C3700v2 since getting it, connection drops, speeds dropped as low as 0.03mb/s... I'm thinking it may be due to a firmware mismatch, my firmware displayed via the router is V1.02.12, my ISP (Cox Communications) only supports V1.01.28 therefore my firmware needs to be downgraded.
I contacted Cox Communications, they're telling me since it was not purchased through them, I must contact Netgear. Netgear will not supply me with the appropriate firmware version.
Am I **bleep** out of luck? Anyone know where I can obtain these firmwares and just manually install them?

Firmware for cable modems is beyond Netgear's control.
If your firmware is outdated, you cannot manually upgrade your cable modem’s or modem router’s firmware. You must contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to upgrade your firmware.

If you read it closely you will see that it tells you who has to change the firmware.
Up or down, it is the ISP.
