cascading two R6220 routers?

       There is no one set of "correct" settings.  Configure the main router
    so that it works the way that you'd like it.  Configure the wireless
    access point the way the User Manual says.

     

       Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
    for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for
    "Use the Router as a Wireless Access Point".

     

       If you'd like to be able to manage the R6220-as-WAP without having to
    discover its current LAN IP address every time, then you might configure
    a reserved address for it on the R6220-as-router.  Look for "Manage
    Reserved LAN IP Addresses" and "Reserve an IP Address" in the User
    Manual.

       The settings for the wireless-network radios are pretty flexible,
    too.  You might or might not want to use the same SSID(s) and
    passphrase(s) on the two R6220 units.

       It would probably make sense to use different radio channels on the
    two R6220 units.
