Failing to setup N300 as a wiFi extender
Hi, I have an N300 wireless router that I would like to use to extend the wireless network at the other end of our house. I have a couple of TLink home plugs that I am using and I have set the router up to act as a wireless repeater.
I can see the router and login to it from my PC and from my phone wirelessly but it has no Internet connection. I have given it a unique IP address and told it the MAC address of the main woreless router.
Is there anything obvious that I am doing wrong or am I just way off the mark?
many thanks, Daniel.

Have you plugged the powerline adapter into the WAN port of the router or the LAN port? Older routers apparently nrrd to be connected via the LAN port while newer oned use the WAN port. Also, check your router's DHCP is disabled.

All done now.

Hi Keith, I'm not really sure. I had been trying for some time to get it to work and I had followed several tutorials. So before I followed the suggested tutorial I took the time to reset the router to factory.
It was probably me just being a dummy! :)
