HELP Internet Connection not working on 2 different Netgear routers!!
First let me just say that your Tech Support on the phone is absolute **bleep**. 90 freaking dollars for 6 months of support when I am only needing help this one time in 6 months? You guys are outrageous and just beyond stupid in that department, you are trying to gain customers, not loose them. Second, my problem with the routers, both routers are the R6200 only one of them is newer than the other. I have tried factory reset, hard reset, unpluging and just a new router, and nothing seems to work, they just will not connect to the internet, and there is an update for the old one but since there is no connection I can not update it to see if it fixes the problem can I? I do not like getting help on forums cause I need problems solved now and I do not have 20 days to wait for a response but I am giving it a shot this time since your Indian support techs want to act like absolute assholes and not provide an ounce of support. So any help within an hour or two is greatly appreciated. I have to register for classes and the fact that my $200 router is not working is very upsetting. Please help ASAP so I might be able to calm down and gain my trust in your company back.

Netgear support certainly leaves a lot to be desired but it is not "our" Tech Support. This place is mostly user-to-user with some input from a small band of overworked Netgear people who have also been known to be upset by the company's telephone support system.
Provide the information that TheEther asked for and you might get better support here than on the phone.

You need to give us some basic information before anyone can help you. Let's start with the following questions. Please try to answer all of them.
How about telling us who your ISP is?
Did they give you a modem or a modem/router?
Do you know if you need to log into your ISP before you can access the Internet?
Does the Internet work if you plug a device directly into the modem?
What do you see when you log into the R6200 web portal?
