I am trying to reset password, but I cant rememner my user ID to log into system to reset password. I also tried to do a factory reset, but after doing so, my original password still works. I still cant log in with User ID:admin Password: password.
Do you have a wireless computer say with windows 7 or higher on it and stills access the Internet ?
If so and you used the same ssid and pass phrase on the computer as the router's user name and password your in luck.
You can access the wifi account selection in widows security and find the account for the computer to connect to the router under password your find a sting of stars click the box that says show hidden characters it will show you your password .
An easy way of accessing an router when people forget their information and want another device when they want to keep it simple.

How long did you push the reset button? The manual says 5 seconds, maybe try holding it a bit longer.
There is also a "30-30-30" reset procedure you could try, which is often suggested for troublesome routers.
- when the unit is powered on, hold down its reset button for 30 seconds
- while still holding down the reset button, unplug the router from power and hold for an additional 30 seconds
- still holding down the reset button, turn on power to the router again and hold for 30 more seconds

Remember the 30-30-30 will clear all the settings from your router as it also clears the nvram.
