How to setup router as AP
I have a WNDR3700v2 that I want to use as an access point only. I have an an Ubiquiti EdgeRouter-X (ER-X) that I'm using to load balance 2 internet connections. I want the ER-Xto take care of DHCP for everything on my network. The Netgear should only take care of WiFi. I want the DHCP on my Netgear off so only the ER-X is providing IP addresses. But I can't get it to work that way. With Netgear's DHCP off, the WiFI doesn't have an internet connection. If I enable DHCP on the Netgear, then WiFi does have an internet connection, but it's giving out IPs on the 192.168.1.x subnet. I want the ER-X to take care of all the IP leases.
I have the ER-X connected to the Netgear's WAN port. ER-X's IP is 192.168.46.1. DHCP settings on the ER-X is 192.168.46.100-243. ER-X is setup to assign the Netgear the IP of 192.168.46.2 which it does knowing the Netgear's MAC address. Below are a couple screenshots from the Netgear setup. I'd appreciate any suggestions to getting this working.

Ok.

Nope. A wireless access point is all-LAN; it acts a as a network
switch, with wireless capability. The WAN/Internet port of the
WNDR3700v2 is part of its router functions, and should be ignored. For one step-by-step, see:

That's written for a C6300, but the steps are about the same for any
other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP option,
including yours. But, other than the WAN/LAN port error, the rest
sounds ok to me.> [...] Below are a couple screenshots [...]

Thanks. I moved the cable from the WAN port to a LAN port, then set my Netgear router's IP in the LAN settings to 192.168.42.2. Everything is working now.

"192.168.46.2"?

Glad to hear it. (What could go wrong?)
