My R6400v2 has stopped broadcasting the Wireless Network (5GHz a/n/ac)

My R6400v2 has stopped broadcasting the Wireless Network (5GHz a/n/ac) on all my capable devices. My router is running with the latest Firmware Version V1.0.4.128_10.0.104 and all required settings are there but network is no where to be found to connect to. I noticed this within the last few days, but before that everything worked. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

What tells you that? Are the WiFi LEDs on the top showing?

If not, press the WiFi On/Off button. (It doubles as a switch.) Maybe it got hit at some stage.

Thanks for the quick response ! Yes I have checked again and confirming that all LEDs are ON

      • And the other question?

What tells you that the WiFi has stopped broadcasting?

Another one, what is the (5GHz a/n/ac) bit about?

Does that mean that it is only the 5 GHz wifi?

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
