N600 cannot connect to wifi devices
firmware V1.0.1.8
my cell is unable to connect to the internet via wifi. my cell searches for a signal by showing "Connecting", but never connects and says either "authentication error occurred" or asks me to enter my password, which i do, and it doesn't connect. this just started a few days ago. and of course i cannot connect to my Roku as well.
any help is greatly appreciated!

Which modem/router is this?
N600 is not a model number. It is a wifi standard. Many companies make N600 devices. Netgear alone has dozens of modems, routers and wifi widgets that are N600.
Can you see the SSID? Have you configured the wifi security?
If this just started, have you rebooted the device?

I have a Netgear WNDR3400v3 firmware V1.0.1.8
Yes, I can see the SSID
When i bought the router in Dec 2013, i read up on how to configure the security settings and set them accordingly and have not changed them since.
The security option i chose is: WPA2-PSK
Yes i have rebooted the router several times
Thanks in advance for your help!!

Your firmware is up to date.
If it is just your phone that cannot connect, maybe you should investigate that as the source of the problem. As the saying goes, it takes two to tango.
Tell the phone to forget past connections to your WNDR3400v3 and start from scratch.
The manual for your router is here:
>>> WNDR3400v3 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
If nothing else works you could reset the router to its factory settings. You could make the process easier by saving its settings and restoring them after the reset.
Good luck.
