Nighthawk AC1600 for Router with Netgear N300 WNR2000V4 for AP/Modem
I have an old and 300 modem/router combo. I recently bought a night hark AC 1600 smart Wi-Fi rider model number R6260. I would Iike to disable the router feature on the old N 300 to use as modem only and use the nighthawk for a router. How can this be done? Doing an AP?

the WNR2000V4 is a router. Not a modem/router combo device.
If you have a combo device, what actual model number is it?
If you go to netgear.com/support/ type in the actual model number and it'll take you to the manual with the info to disable router mode.
You also posted in the mobile router forum. you might have better luck in the dls or cable modem forum (not sure which because the wnr2000 is a router only)

- msnancylou420AspirantIt's not a combo? I've used the n300 for about 4 yrs as a stand alone modem/router. Not hooked up to a modem. I bought the nighthawk last night thinking it would work as a stand alone. It does not from what it appears ??
Your old device was the WNR2000? and there's nothing else connected to it?
Who's your isp?
