r6120 as wireless bridge

I have an R6120 I want to use as a wireless bridge, ie it connects passively to exisitng wifi and distributes network via ethernet. However I don't think it can do it, can anyone confirm? Thanks

  • There is a manual for the R6120 somewhere at the end of this link:

    >>>> R6120 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<<

I see no suggestion that this device can operate as a Wireless Distribution System (WDS) or repeater.

It will work as an access point. See the bit in the manual Use the Router as a WiFi Access Point Only.

Thanks for the reply, indeed I was hoping I'd missed something but unfortunately looks like not. Need to replan my design then!
