R6300v2 - Firmware 1.0.4.8_10.0.77

Local network devices unable to ping or see each other. Breaks existing applications and wireless printer fails.

After applying the update I noticed that the router is operating is isolation mode. I don't mind the isolation mode but need to make certain local ips "pingable".

Any ideas on how to allow the printer and other ips to be seen?

Did you do a factory reset after the firmware flash?

It isn't always necessary but it is the first thing to try if anything goes wrong.

Yes I did a factory reset. All of this happened only after applying the update.

  • I noticed a couple things:

    - When logged into router I can't see ips of devices connected. Only happens on 2.4GHz.

    - If I switch to 5GHz I can see device ips and I can ping other devices on network. Everything works as expected.

The problem is not every device is able to connect to 5GHz wireless network. So how I can downgrade and install previous firmware? Is there a website listing all firmware versions?

    Thanks.
