R6400 set up

Can not get TV or printer to sign into network
  • Got completely fed up with this router and returned it. Bought Linksys, set it up in 10 min no problems.

  • It might be useful to know the printer and TV models, and whether you were using WPS or manually entering the configuration.

  • I have tried both several times . I have tried the printer wireless and connected to the router USB. The TV works sometimes and sometimes it just won't connect either to the regular network or even the guest

Understood.  Were you using WPS or manually entering the configuraton on the printer and TV?

What model printer and TV?  Do these devices support 2.4ghz only or both bands?

Is this a new purchase?  You could try Netgear support.

  • I requested a call from Netgear but it was late and haven't tried today. Not sure if I can get anyone over Christmas.
Yes I have been fighting with this for a week since I bought it.
I have tried WPS button and entering password on both many times
    Brother mfc-j475dw printer
Actually using Blu-ray player on TV Samsung bd-jm57
    • You could also try Samsung support on the BluRay player.

These devices connected with your old router, correct?  Was that router 802.11N?

If you still have the Arris you could try to match the SSID, passphrase and other security settings.
