R6400 V2 dropping internet after longer lack of activity

Hi!

I have 6400v2 with V1.0.2.52_1.0.39 firmware. (which was upgraded during my usage). But since the beginning I have a problem with the device,  mainly it's turning off the internet after longer lack of activity.  To get it back I need to login into the router.

For example, after night, when I start my computer there is no Internet, until I log in into the router. Then, it's immediately on.  I had that issue on the previous and current firmware.  Anyone had the same issue and have a fix for it?

Cheers!

    Hi all,

hint for others, as suggested by michaelkenward, resetting to factory defaults after firmware upgrade solved the problem.

    Thanks all!

Can other devices connect to the wifi during this alleged dead periods?

If the LEDs look right when the internet appears to be "down", maybe the problem is at the receiving end, the computer.

Check that your PC does not have Windows (?) settings that send devices to sleep.
