R6400v2 Power Adapter
Does anyone know the part number for the power adapter that goes with the R6400v2 router? I recently moved and have several NETGEAR power adapters and want to make sure I use the correct one. Thanks!

Check the back of your R6400v2 where the power cord connects. It should show the voltage and current requirements for the device. Use the adapter the matches those values.
Netgear does not sell replacement power adapters in most markets. Any generic transformer will work, as long as it has the right volts, enough amps and a tip with the right (+/-) polarity and dimensions. (Look at the label on your device or the old adapter.)
The details you need should be on the old adapter, on a label on the device itself and in its manual.
You can find suitable adapters in all the usual on-line places. Some will even list compatibility with different Netgear hardware. Some generic adapters come with a set of tips that will fit a range of different devices.
