Remote Access

Router setup has an option for remote access, but this router is not supported by Network Genie, so how do I access it remotely?

Yes, the model is accurate.  And, I managed to figure it out even though searching the Netgear site wasn't helpful this afternoon.

For any who need to remotely control this model,

    1. Enter https://WANIP:PortNumber into your browser

    2. Login

    3. Netgear genie will open and you'll be able to reboot your router from anywhere.

    4.  Unfortunately, you'll have to  turn off your VPN if you use one.

Is that accurate?  (Not a WNDR4300v2?)  Firmware version?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Remote Management".

In other words, you followed the instructions in the User Manual?
