Reset prosafe fs116p

My switch appears to have frozen.
5 leds are on constantly. When I plug in a cable I don't get anything. There appears to be no reset button on the switch. Does anyone know how I can reset/factory reset the switch or should I just bin it.
Regards

_Which_ "5 leds are on constantly"?  Colors?  Whether or not a cable
is connected to the corresponding port?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
    for Documentation.  Get some.  Read.

A cable normally has two ends.  What's the other end doing?

    > [...] I don't get anything. [...]

Does that mean that the corresponding port-status LEDs stay dark, or
    what?

What's to reset?  It's an unmanaged switch.

If its port-status LEDs do not agree with reality, and data don't get
through it, then I'd guess that it's junk.  In that case you might want
to look for a replacement switch with gigabit/s capability.

Are you using its PoE capability?

Last 5 less aare on. 12-16. Leds are green. Stay that way whether something is plugged in or not.
Other port less are dark. Stay that way whether a cable is plugged in or not.
Cable that is being used is connects to a laptop. It has been tested and works.
I am currently not using the Poe to power anything.

"Last" is a bit vague, but it sounds fried.

If you don't expect to use PoE, then replacing the thing should be
        cheaper.
