  • What router do you have?

What firmware is on the router?

What modem/gateway is it connected to?

A7000 is a wireless usb device.

the firmware indicates its a R7000 router. And that its not on the latest firmware.

I'd try upgrading the firmware over a hardwired connection, then factory reset, and do a clean install (not from backup).

Also, Arris makes many modems. and some modem/router combo devices. What specific one do you have?

I have an T25 Arris surfboard docsis 3.1 cable modem for xfinity internet and voice .
It keeps telling me my firmware is up to date. How can I force another upgrade if it won't prompt me?
