Router login issues using Genie app.

Can't log in to the WNDR4500 functions that require log in using default login and password even though I have never used anything but the default.  I keep getting the red timeout error msg. after 30 seconds or so.  Have tried all I know to get past the login page but no luck.  Router seems to be working so far and I probably caused problem myself trying to add 5gig settings to router using Genie  on router settings page.  Should have left well enough alone.  Any suggestions?

    If you are unable to access the admin page of the router, you may factory reset the router.

    You may need a power clip to push the reset button. Now, resetting the unit will cause the router to restore its settings to default so you will need to reconfigure the settings manually or best way is to use the backup and restore feature.
