Troubleshooting N750 passphrase change
Hello.
I have an N750 wireless router WNDR 4300 model.
As a courtesy to a neighbor who was in a bind, I shared my network wifi password. But now I'd like to change my password.
I've been able to login to routerlogin.net without any problems. But when I entered a new passphrase for the WPA2-PSK [AES] security option, the website immediately stop working and told me that my wireless connection had timed out.
Of course, I was able to reset the router to the factory settings and resume normal use. But as I said, I need to change the password. Any thoughts?
Do you have a laptop or computer with an Ethernet port? If you do, then connect it to one of the router's LAN ports with an Ethernet cable. Log into the router, change the Wi-Fi password and apply the change. Wait about a minute, then try to connect to the Wi-Fi network with a wireless device.

If you are connected via Wi-Fi, then changing the Wi-Fi password will naturally cause your connection to drop. Just rejoin the Wi-Fi network using the new password.

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, my network disappeared. And when it reappeared, it would accept neither the new or the old passphrase. The repeated error message said 'connection timeout.' So I reset the router. The factory password works, but I'm back to square 1.
