Wireless turning itself off

got a new tablet today and I couldn't get it to connect to the wireless router. now my kindle won't either. no signal is found by either tablet. the wireless has turned off and I can't get it back on. I've tried numerous fixes with no luck. any help will be greatly appreciated. I've been at this for hours and am exhausted.

The orientation of your router might be different from the one that I might be thinking.

But for clarity, do you see lights on 2.4GHz and 5GHz?

If you already have pushed the reset button and if those lights are still off then you might have a bad router.

Possible that the wireless portion of it got busted.

the top 2 lights and the 3 at the bottom are on.

sorry it took so long for me to answer. I'm in a wheelchair due to strokes and I was in spasms from sitting so long. and its hard for me to reach the router.

      sorry, did't mean to whine.
