- Lovely.. guess I should figure this nearly 5 year old beast has given up the ghost and its just basically time to choose between Asus or Netgear based off sites likes smallnetbuilder.com as I want a v.powerful AC3xxx or AC5xxxx router. Wanted to wait for the next Wifi standard to replace AC but thats taking too long.
The same thing just started happening to me too. Android phones are affected, but Windows laptops and other devices are not.
I find it extremely suspicious that it started happening around the same time it started happening to you. Previously, everything was working fine.
Also, rebooting the router fixes it, but not for long.
