AC1900 Wifi Adapter internet cutting out for a few seconds.

Question

Hi All,&nbsp;I recently built a new PC, and for the most part I haven't had too many issues.I installed my old wifi adapter to my new PC since I figured my AC1900 would have better throughput than the stock wifi adapter that came with my motherboard.&nbsp;However, right after install I get this issue where my internet will cut out for 1-2 seconds at most (not enough to disconnect me from online games from what I can tell), and then it will re-establish connection.&nbsp;I can also see this issue manifest when I'm in discord and have video going and I can see people's audio and video will stop for 1-3 seconds, and then continue.&nbsp;&nbsp;This occurs fairly frequently (several (5+?) times per hour), and I can see the blue triangle on the wifi adapter itself start blinking, and then it goes solid once again once it re-establishes a connection.&nbsp;Any advice or debugging steps would be greatly appreciated.&nbsp;

p.s.&nbsp; There is always a chance that the WiFi adapter included on the motherboard is more up-to-date than the A7000 (WiFi5)&nbsp; If the home WiFi network and the motherboard unit are both WiFi6 (802.11ax), that might be more effective than the A7000.

I'd agree with CrimpOn​ , if this is a new build, there's a good chance the built in is much better as the A7000 is quite old. What motherboard did you buy? Or what built in does it have? I've had a few pretty solid built in wireless cards. Or they have the option to upgrade the chip on the motherboard. Works great.&nbsp;

My motherboard is an aorus elite b850m wifi6e.&nbsp;Through initial testing with the built in wifi adapter vs the ac1900, I was getting higher speed test results with the ac1900
