AC7800 issues
Within the last couple of months my device has consistently told me there is no internet connection on my 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifis. I then need to login to the Genie app and reboot the router and power cycle it. It's beginning to become a problem as it is becoming and everyday chore. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a remedy? It was purchased back in 2020 and I may just go with a different model.

Which router are we talking about? AC7800 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
It seems that there is no such thing as AC7800. Maybe you mean R7800.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting. - plemansGuru - Experienced User
Are you talking the R7800 or C7800? Because AC7800 is a speed and there isn't a netgear router with that speed.
what modem/gateway is it connected to?
what firmware is on the router?
