Adding VLAN with Centurylink Internet Service - What NetGear Router and Suggestions on Configuration
I currently have CenturyLink Business Class Service with a Zyxel C3000Z Modem Router. I want to create two VLANs on a Netgear GS324TP S350 Series 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Smart Managed Pro Switch, and I have two NetGear Wireless Access Points WAC510s in each VLAN. I own the switch and APs.
Per a conversation with Centurylink and Netgear support the current configuration requires and upgrades. Per their guidance the C3000Z does not support VLAN. Each noted I can run the router in bridge mode, shut off the wireless, and hand off the router capabilities PPPOE.
My question is what router do you suggest? As a small business owner with 20 years prior IT experience I am reasonably capable with some IT Networking, but also want to keep things as simple as possible. The reason for the VLAN is to support a multi-tennant envrironment. I regular use the Netgear Insights App and find it very useful so I lean towards the Netgear. I've read a bit about the BR200 including the manual and it seems to meet the specs/needs I have.
Thanks in advance for your guidance/opinion.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Smart / Plus / Click Switches - NETGEAR Communities
I will see that your message gets moved.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads. - michaelkenwardGuru - Experienced User

Changed it back. But it is hard to know where best to get an answer to this question. It probably depends on the VLAN network rather than the router. Work out what can run the network and then find compatible routers.
In any case, this sounds more like a business network challenge than one for domestic routers like the Nighthawk range.
Cable modem/routers lack many of the features of standalone routers. So start with a modem and find a router that meets your network needs.
My guess is that the challenge will be to find things that support two VLANs. From the message traffic here, getting one VLAN to work can cause grief.
Have you determined that this is the only way to achieve the ultimate goal? It might be better to explain that before deciding on how to implement it.
