BT Vision channels compatibility with Nighthawk modem router D7000
Hi guys
I've just ditched my BT hub 3 and bought the nighthawk D7000 Vdsl router. Everything set up fine but I can't get the BT you view channels to work. I've been told by netgear online chat to set up Vlan to Iptv. Has anybody set this up and know the correct vlan I'd for BT. I'm not having success yet but can't get hold of BT to ask for the correct ID.
The nighthawk is connected into the phone line direct, I'm not using the openreach box either, thinking I now don't need this....is this correct.
Woukd appreciate any advice.

OK, since you have those BT channels working now does that mean that you have no remaining issues?

What firmware version are you using? Have you seen this;

There are a few IPTV related changes/fixes that might impact what you are doing if you are using an older firmware version.

Hi, thanks for the new firmware advice. I haven't done the firmware update, I got the BT vision channels working by doing a full reset on the Youview box. The channels are now coming through. The firmware version the netgear is using is 1.0.0.18. I did try to upload the 1.0.0.34 but it just says it's an img. file, although I have unzipped it and the file is a chk. file?
Are you saying that the router rejects the firmware upload?
