Burnt smd, need help to identify Netgear R6900v2

By mistake in emergency I inverted the polarity of the DC adapter voltage and burnt an smd and the router doesnt turn on now, there is a low frequency sound but thats it, I need to identify this smd to replace it. Thank you anyone!

    Not sure if that is known out side of NGs engineering. Might try to find a used one online somewhere. Try and see if the FCC has any historical pictures for this model. 

  • Nothing visible in the fcc, the internal pictures are low quality

      Plenty of R6900v2 routers on ebay, some under $25 USD.  So maybe just buy one, and either use it instead of the one you damaged, or take off the chip you need.

        I know, but i'm not in the US, buying one now is expensive for me, thats why i'm trying to repair this

    Not sure where you are but there are plenty of generic routers that can be picked up internationally that are cheap and perform better than the R6900. Its quite old
